Dear Sungold Organic customers.
The last increase in prices of our organically raised poultry products was a good twelve months ago in 2024. These price adjustments reflect the changes in the input costs for raising and processing the birds. This is then adjusted (reduced) to account for the improvements in productivity brought about by the farm staff since the last price adjustment was put in place.
The unfortunate losses incurred earlier this month, when a complete and ready-to-market flock of a 1,000 birds was destroyed, are not part of the consideration when determining annual price adjustments.
Based on the above, we are adjusting the unit prices of our chicken products as under:
